UX polish and launch flow

CoveredNYC user journey: clear paths from first question to broker review.

This page documents the polished real-user path: ask a question, compare a current plan, use the guided interview, get a Coverage Action Plan, request a callback, and move into the broker pipeline.

1

Start on homepage

Question box, plan checkup, guided interview, public/free-care, small business, and callback paths are visible immediately.

2

Answer next relevant questions

The system asks for county, household, income, current coverage, deadline, employer offer, and plan comparison facts only when relevant.

3

Get an action plan

Users see likely paths to check, missing information, documents needed, and whether current-plan comparison is ready.

4

Broker review queue

Staff sees the lead with tags, priority, pipeline status, next action, and compliance flags.

Polish rule

Every button-looking element must actually link or perform an action. Trust notes stay as clear text, not fake badges.

Counter rule

Every long question box uses a visible 2,500-character counter and a comfortable textarea.

Regression rule

Every future version must be audited against the immediately previous version so we do not remove approved work.
